Mindful Eating – Mindfulness Insight

Mindful Eating – learning how to make friends with food again.

  • Do you eat when you are stressed out, bored or sad?
  • Have you tried to lose weight only to regain it back?
  • Feeling like you just can’t stick with healthy eating?

Mindful Eating is a completely new approach, based on the latest behavioural science – not the latest fad diet.

If you’d like to ditch diets forever and would like a fresh, fad-diet-free approach, this Mindful Eating programme might be what you are looking for.
The combination of 24-hour app support, daily mindfulness practices and group sessions offer a comprehensive approach to help you transform your relationship with food. You will learn to identify triggers, manage cravings and fully enjoy eating with awareness. By learning to pay attention to the effects of mindless or emotional eating, it becomes easier to let go of old habits and begin to form healthier behaviours naturally.

This is a weekly group, for people who want to develop a healthy relationship with eating and already using the Eat Right Now app. Eat Right Now is a daily app-based program based on mindfulness, backed by science and developed by world-leading neuroscientist, Yale professor and addiction psychiatrist Dr Judson Brewer. His popular TED talk is here.

The group is a positive, safe and supportive environment for participants to learn and develop a mindful approach to eating. This is a diet-free zone and centres on using the latest research in mindfulness to develop realistic, practical and sustainable ways to directly change behaviours of stress, emotional and habitual eating at the root cause.

Please note: participants will need to be using the Eat Right Now app to join this group, the group takes place Tuesdays at 9am online and is free of charge for users of Eat Right Now – details are available in the App.
